As a jazz guitarist, Josh Moore has played countless gigs with world class jazz musicians in the Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Phoenix, Tucson, Buffalo and Flagstaff areas. Josh studied jazz guitar with Bruce Forman and Frank Potenza at the University of Southern California. Also at USC, Josh studied jazz improv with the legendary saxophonist Bob Mintzer. Josh previously taught courses for the Jazz Studies Program at the Northern Arizona University Kitt School of Music, where he also ran the guitar department. Josh currently teaches jazz guitar lessons to guitar majors at the University of San Diego. Josh can be seen playing in various formats around the San Diego area.
